I stayed at the Great River Road Bed & Breakfast in Louisiana, MO. last weekend and had a great time-this beautiful victorian house is located on the banks of the river and you can sit and watch the river traffic – it is mesmerizing to see the little tugs pushing those large barges down the river. The accommodations here are excellent – can’t say enough about the comfy beds and the rooms are gorgeous. It has the old victorian feel but with all the modern conveniences. Charlie and Beverly are wonderful hosts. I hope to go back in July when the town of Louisiana has their bi-centennial.
